| Universal log file analysis and reporting Sawmill is a terrific web based program that allows people to easily analyze log files of many different formats.
We use it to analyze the log files of the streaming server. It allows us to see how many gigabytes have been streamed out, which countries are accessing the streamed material, what times of day are the busiest, etc. From this data, we can better manage the service.
Other areas of the Division of Information are also about to use this product to analyze the log files of their in house services.
